Vocal

The classical vocal studies course prepares the young singer for the most widely ranging places in the profession, depending on their ambitions and possibilities. Graduates from the Royal Conservatoire can be found in The Netherlands and abroad on opera stages, in concert practice, experimental theatre, educational practice, professional choirs and ensembles.

From the start of the course the student is stimulated to develop their professionality to its full extent, not only through making effective use of the educational programme on offer, but also through participation in projects both within the school and beyond. From within the department a broad network of contacts in the profession is maintained, through which students have the chance to orientate themselves in music practice, in gaining experience and in presenting themselves as performers.
