BASSbook

An interesting cooperation between the various bass players from the departments Jazz, Early Music, and Classical Music lead to BASSbook - see www.BASSbook.nl.

More and more (double) bass players don’t stick to one style, but are capable of playing more styles. Several times a year these students and teachers gather to exchange experiences. They also welcome international guests from different disciplines. The guests are a colourful bunch: soloists, researchers, instrument builders, improvisators, and teachers. The double bass is the focal point in the Festival Classique 2012, with contributions from students and teachers of the Royal Conservatoire.
