From 2 - 5 February 2010 the composition department of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague is organizing a unique festival around an instrument which became very popular in the Netherlands in the fifties and sixties: the Hammond Organ.
Featuring concerts, lectures and improvisations, as well as both “classic” works, and newly-composed pieces, the Hammond Organ Festival will be a rare opportunity experience the versatility of this legendary instrument of the jazz club, concert hall, and recording studio. Don’t miss it!
