Master Research Symposium for Teachers

do 22|06|17 10:00 uur

This summer fifteen teachers from the Royal Conservatoire will receive their Master of Music degree. A personal research project was one of the main focuses in their curriculum. In a symposium from 20 till 23 June 2017, all teachers will present the outcomes of these research projects, followed by a discussion with the jury and the audience. For this occasion the Royal Conservatoire invited important experts from abroad to take part as committee members.

This year’s symposium will be special, since we invited the committee members to kick-off every symposium day with a lecture on their own research. The topics will be varying from Analytical methods in Popular Music till the relationship between the Galileo family and Lute repertoire in renaissance Italy. Join in, bring a coffee and start your day with the newest insights in musicology and music education from across the globe!

Everybody is warmly invited to attend the public presentations, between 10.00 hrs and 18.00 hrs each day in Studio 1 at the Royal Conservatoire.
