Studielink is het online inschrijfsysteem voor het Nederlands hoger onderwijs. Wanneer je je aanmeldt, ben je ook automatisch aangemeld bij DUO, Dienst Uitvoerend Onderwijs, die bijvoorbeeld de studiefinanciering voor studenten regelt.

• Ben je een Nederlandse student, dan moet je inloggen met je DigiD. Heb je die nog niet, vraag deze dan aan bij www.digid.nl. Het kan enkele dagen duren voordat je de inlogcodes ontvangt.
• Ben je een buitenlandse student, log dan in met een gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord die je in Studielink zelf kunt aanmaken.
• Meld je aan voor de studierichting van jouw keuze onder Hogeschool der Kunsten Den Haag (Koninklijke Academie/Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag). Volg alle stappen zorgvuldig en bevestig je aanmelding. Gedetailleerde instructies vind je op de website van Studielink.

Make a recording on video for the pre-selection procedure. We would like you to perform and record a number of works of your own choice. The total length of the recording should not exceed 20 minutes.

Check the entry requirements on the programme page of your choice to get an idea of the level/works we're looking for.

Put the recordings on YouTube/Vimeo.

Create a Word/PDF document with a list of the repertoire and all the activated links.

You will upload the Word/PDF document at the appropriate question in Osiris Online Application later in the process.

The decision on whether you will be permitted to sit the entrance exam (international candidates will sometimes be allowed to sit a NON-LIVE entrance exam) is based on the information and the answers you have entered and the documents and sound and visual recordings you have uploaded. The Student Administration Office will inform you by e-mail whether you will be invited for an entrance exam.

In the weeks after your entrance exam you will be notified by e-mail and/or in a letter whether you have been provisionally admitted to the course or have been rejected.

Notification that you have been provisionally admitted to the course means that you meet the necessary standard for admission but are not yet certain of a place (for example, because the decision depends on the number of places on the course).

You are only certain of being able to enter the Royal Conservatoire and start studying in September of the following academic year when you are formally notified that you have been admitted.

Taalniveau Engels
Voor zowel de bachelor- als de masteropleiding moet je voldoende Engels kunnen schrijven en spreken om je studie binnen het conservatorium te mogen volgen.

EU/EER studenten
Wanneer we tijdens de toelatingsprocedure vaststellen dat het niveau van het Engels onvoldoende is, wordt een taalcursus verplicht gesteld voor EU/EER studenten. Je bent dan verplicht om tijdens de propedeuse een taalcursus te volgen en daarvoor een certificaat te behalen.

Non-EU/EER studenten
Ben je afkomstig uit een land buiten de EU (met uitzondering van Canada, Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland, Verenigde Staten van Amerika of Zuid-Afrika) en ben je toegelaten tot een Bachelor of Master opleiding dan moet je voor 1 september aantonen dat je over een voldoende niveau van de Engelse taal beschikt. Aantonen doe je met een Engelse taaltest IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC of Cambridge English (FCE/CAE/CPE). De scores hiervan zijn twee jaar geldig, ze moeten geldig zijn op 1 september.

Het beoordelingsniveau is IELTS (6,0 of hoger) of TOEFL (niveau 80 of hoger).

Certificaten van de Institutional TOEFL-toets, de TOEFL ITP toets of andere taaltoetsen worden niet geaccepteerd.

Als je bent toegelaten, dan moet je zorgen dat alle benodigde documenten zijn ingeleverd.
Niet-EU/EER-studenten moeten het bewijs van het Engelse taalniveau (zie stap Engelse taalniveau) voor 1 september inleveren.

Wanneer je bent toegelaten ontvang je informatie via e-mail en Studielink over het betalen van het collegegeld.

Pas wanneer je aan alle inschrijfverplichtingen hebt voldaan, word je ingeschreven als student. Zorg er dus voor dat je alle gevraagde documenten voor 1 september hebt aangeleverd.
