Lectorate Event
On 28 January, the lectorate ‘Music, Education and Society’ will present the outcomes of the research projects of 2021, as well as introduce the research group of 2022. The meeting is also the festive closing of the first term of the lectorate 'Music, Education & Society'. Lector Paul Craenen will look back on what has been achieved, and present plans and ambitions as well as a renewed mission for the lectorate for the coming years.
Research into peer-learning pods, looking again at Italian scores from late 17th to early 18th century, explorations of live sound spatialization in electronic music performance: these are just a few examples of the diverse research projects that will be presented through presentations and artistic interventions. We are also looking forward to upcoming research projects with the 2022 researchers, who will offer a creative glimpse into their plans.
The lectorate event will be presented as a free public livestream. If you are interested in the recent and future research projects at the Royal Conservatoire, this event will be worth a visit!
