Open Day Wind Band Conducting
Do you want to know more about Wind Band Conducting at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague? Come to our Open day on March 7. In the morning you will work with our main subject teacher Alex Schillings and a wind band on various repertoire. After lunch Mr Schillings and his students will talk about studying Wind Band Conducting at the Royal Conservatoire. During the afternoon session conducting techniques, non-verbal communication, leadership and much more will be the topics to work on. Frank den Herder, pianist of our conducting department and a wind ensemble will be there to work with.
The Open Day is for all young musicians thinking about studying Wind Band Conducting, but also experienced musicians and conductors who want to know more about the Wind Band Conducting department of the Royal Conservatoire.
