Pete Saunders

Pete Saunders enjoyed a career of 40 years in large symphony orchestras, beginning first in Mexico, continuing in Germany, and then in the Netherlands, where he was solo trombonist of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra from 1987 to 2013. He was also a member of the famed Netherlands Wind Ensemble for 15 years. 

As a teacher Pete Saunders has been professor of trombone for the past 25 years at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where he is also responsible for the brass department, coaches master student research, and performs many other functions. He has been a guest teacher and given masterclasses in, among others, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Israel and Brazil.
