Children born between 1 August 2019 and 1 October 2020 are admissable for this programme for the academic year 2025 - 2026. Within the application, parents confirm the instrument their child wants to learn. Our advice for the parents is to come to our Open Day and have their child try out the instruments for which we offer lessons in our programmes. Registration is possible until July 3.

If your child has applied to join the ‘PI: Muziek voor kleuters’ programme you will be invited to take part in a try-out class (which lasts about 1.5 hours) at the Royal Conservatoire. Please indicate in your application which instrument your child wishes to play. We would advise you to attend the Open Day so that your child can get to know the various instruments we offer.
The children will be observed during the try-out class. After consultation the teachers will make the final choice of the children who will be invited to join the PI-programme. The most important criteria for the choice are: joy in making music, ability to keep time, ability to clap in rhythm, able to sing songs, has the right build and affinity with the instrument.
