Call for papers
The Early Music Department and KC Jazz of the Royal Conservatoire, The Hague invite proposals for:
- Individual paper: 20 minutes, including 5 minutes for Q&A
- Short research pitch of 5 minutes (for students and recent alumni only)
Topics could concern, but are not limited to:
- Historical approaches to improvisation
- The improvisational state of mind
- Models of improvisation
- Improvisation as a teaching tool
- Group improvisation / conversation
Applications should consist of a proposal of a maximum of 250 words, plus a title and a short biographical sketch, which can be sent by filling in this form. Deadline for application is 18 June 2023, 23:59.
