Master Research Symposium

From 12 to 16 April the Royal Conservatoire hosts the yearly recurring Master Research Symposium. During this week, master students of the departments of Classical Music, Jazz, Early Music, Vocal Studies, Conducting and Art of Sound would normally present the research projects they have been working on for two years for an international committee of experts and an interested audience. The presentations take all sorts of creative forms and the artistic research projects are often illustrated musically and visually.

Due to the measures taken in connection with the coronapandemic, the symposium can unfortunately not take place as a live event this year. The students have therefore been asked to record a presentation video in advance. The jury discussions will take place online and will not be public. However, the presentation videos of students who have given their permission will be shared afterwards.

Take a look at the program below.
