Meet4Music Percussion Palooza

On Monday 11 March, you can join Meet4Music for a new, energetic and dynamic workshop, organised by students from The Musician Educator Masters programme.

Percussion Palooza is a creative journey where melody and rhythm come together in a unique musical collaboration. Students will bring their instruments and by combining the rich tones of classical instruments such as piano, violin and cello with the vibrant textures of percussion, this workshop invites you to explore the dynamic interplay between melody and rhythm.

This workshop offers you the opportunity to expand your creative horizons, cultivate collaborative skills and experience the joy of making music together in a dynamic and safe environment. Join us on an inspiring exploration of melody, rhythm and the magical intersection where they meet.

There is space for 15 participants, depending on the instruments available. Register via education@koncon.nl

Do you love music? Then come along and get lost in the experimental world of music with us! On Wednesday 20 March, two students from the Royal Conservatoire will drop by the Central Library to give the Meet4Music workshop for children.

What will we do?

In this workshop, Jasperina Verheij (vocals) and Sigrid Angelsen (cello) will take us into the world of experimental music. We will listen, play, discover and learn more about graphic notation: this is a way of writing down music. Not with traditional musical notes, but with other shapes and colours!

The workshop lasts 45 minutes and is for children aged 4 to 9 and their parents.
