MMMMM ... Music, Mozart, Mendelssohn

This concert marks the finale of a series of an orchestral repertoire session. The purpose of the sessions is to provide students of the Royal Conservatoire with regular opportunities to practice ensemble playing under the guidance of a conductor. The choice of repertoire is designed to encompass a variety of style periods and composers in order to familiarise the students with the range of music performed by an orchestra.

The concert will include works from the standard repertoire, including Mozart’s Symphony No.39, solo concertos by Mozart and his contemporaries and extracts from Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Night’s Dream .
