Moon Quintet is an international 5 member band who has met each other in The Hague through the Royal Conservatory. Their repertoire is very brought starting from jazz standards like 'Polka Dots and Moonbeams' and ' Moon and Sand' to covers of modern jazz inspired by artists such as Wolfgang Muthspiel and Aaron Parks. Aside from that they also compose their own songs who are very much connected and inspired by nature using descriptions as metaphors. Although the repertoire is very brought and has very different songs from different 'times' as well, it all connects to each other not only in a story-telling kind of way but in a musical way too.
