The Ensemble Academy, specialising in contemporary music, plays four world premieres during the Musica Sacra festival in Maastricht. Composition students Mateusz Godlewski, Anat Spiegel, Floris van Ballegooijen and Elsa Šušnjara wrote new works around the festival theme 'Uit vrije wil'. Their composition is based on a poem also commissioned by Musica Sacra, written respectively by Mia You, Daniël Vis, Dewi de Nijs Bik and Bernard Wesseling.

During concerts of the Composition Department, you will hear new music that has not been played before. For this reason, the estimated end time of this concert may vary.
