Peri's Euridice, directed by Michael Chance
Students have worked intensively with Michael Chance on music, staging, costumes and theatre skills in preparation for this performance of Euridice by Peri with a small ensemble from the Early Music department. Performed for the first time in Florence in 1600, Euridice is the earliest surviving opera.
