In 1612 a collection of more than 300 dances is published, collected and arranged by the German composer Michael Praetorius. He calls the collection Terpsichore, after the muse of dance from Greek mythology.
Mike Fentross leads a 'renaissance band' consisting of more than 30 students from the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
