Radio West Concert - Jazz

ASPIRE Concert Band featuring Chris Cheek

The ASPIRE Concert Band is a group of highly talented and advanced Jazz students of the Royal Conservatoire The Hague. This year, they worked under the guidance of our faculty member Rik Mol and have performed in- and outside of the school, including at Los Angeles’ Jazz club Sam First. According to tradition, the Radio West Concert series concludes with a performance by an ensemble from the Jazz department. For more than forty years the department has been attracting students from Europe and elsewhere in the world who wish to follow a comprehensive and progressive jazz programme. The students form a tight-knit international community and are among the best in the discipline.

Are you not able to attend or do you want to listen to the concert from home? 89.3 Radio West will broadcast the concert a week later on Sunday between 8 and 9 am and between 10 and 11 pm in the Klassiek op West programme.
