During the orchestral repertoire sessions at the Royal Conservatoire, our students are gaining experience in ensemble playing on a regular basis, under the baton of one of our conductors. In order to familiarise the students with the scope of a wide orchestra repertoire, the programme is chosen from different periods and composers.

In this concert, the Adagietto from Mahler's Symphony No.5, as well as Britten's Sea Interludes, from his opera Peter Grimes, will be played.
