KC-library is part of the Muziekverdieping of The Hague Public Library.

Together with the music collection of The Hague Public Library and the Netherlands Music Institute (NMI), the KC library constitutes an extensive music library on the fifth floor of the Central Library.

De Muziekverdieping offers a great collection of collected works, reference books, scores, journals, magazines, CDs and digital resources. There are also study places available.

Students and staff of the Royal Conservatoire have access to our digital services on the library page of the KC Portal, including nkoda (digital sheet music), medici.tv (videos of concerts, master classes and documentaries) and JStor (magazine articles).

The library is housed on the fifth floor of The Hague’s central library on Spui, opposite from Amare. Every student and staff member of the Royal Conservatoire will be entitled to a free pass to use the central library.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Every student and staff member of the Royal Conservatoire is entitled to a free library card to make use of the central library.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ You can get the library card at the reception on the ground floor of the central library. Additionally, members of The Hague's Central library can use the KC Music Library as well. Bring an ID and a KC-registration for the current academic year.

The lending period for scores is 6 weeks. For books it’s 3 weeks. You can renew the lending period if nobody else has made a reservation for the materials.

There is no fine when you are late returning your borrowed materials
