At the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, students lay the foundation for their future as an international musician or dancer. With the best teachers and internationally appealing projects, these talents get the best education and are prepared for their international career. In order to realise these ambitions, the Royal Conservatoire founded the Foundation for Excellence of the Royal Conservatoire (Fund for Excellence) in early 2016.

Minister of Education, Culture and Science Ingrid van Engelshoven and former vicepresident for the Raad van State Herman Tjeenk Willink tell all about why your support for the Fund for Excellence and the Royal Conservatoire is so important.

The Fund for Excellence of the Royal Conservatoire’s board consists of:

Henk van der Meulen, chair
Huub Smeets, treasurer
Jaap Grijmans
Hilgen Smit
Carla Hoogweg

The Fund for Excellence of the Royal Conservatoire’s recommending committee consists of:
Jozias van Aartsen
Louis Andriessen
Reinbert de Leeuw
Floris Maljers
Herman Tjeenk Willink

The Fund For Excellence is a Cultural Public Benefit Organisation (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling, ANBI). The Fund For Excellence is an independent legal entity but is closely associated with the Royal Conservatoire. All of the funds raised by the foundation are used for the benefit of the very best students at the Royal Conservatoire.
