Alena Walentin live on the Danish Radio

Our Main Subject Teacher Classical Music Flute, Alena Walentin played live on the Danish radio during the Møn Sommerkoncert Festival and Odsherreds Kammermusikfestival and had her performance recorded live at the Copenhagen Summer Festival.

Together with her wind quintet Atéa, duo partner Anne Denholm and also in other constellations with cello and piano, Alena played a very varied programme, including compositions of female composers such as Mel Bonis and Louise Farrenc.

Alena Walentin is an Altus Artist, Artistic director of the Danish festival Møn Sommerkoncert and a former Vice-Chair of the British Flute Society. She has gained a reputation as one of the most versatile young flutists, having an international career as a soloist, chamber musician and guest Principal flute with leading orchestras.
