Big Band plays own arrangements

5 March 2018

The Royal Conservatoire Big Band will play a concert of arrangements exclusively composed by students of the jazz department, this coming Friday, 9th March.

The students attended the ‘arrangement’ class by famous Dutch arranger Henk Huizinga. As part of their last Bachelor-year, they are required to write an arrangement for the Big Band.

The programme will consists of world premieres, written and performed by jazz students and led by conductor John Ruocco. It will be professionally recorde by the Art of Sound department.
