In the summer of 2020, Shannon Bueno came from Aruba to the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag to study here at the bachelors of Music Education. She noticed that there is a huge need for good music teachers at Aruba.

That is why she went back to her island together with the coordinator of Music Teaching Suzan Overmeer. Their goal was to make young people aware of the possibility to be music teachers. They talked to several institutions that deal with music education, to see if the Royal Conservatoire could help with that.

The journey of Shannon and Suzan didn't keep unnoticed. Local media report about the project.
