Great success for students of Young KC at lordens Viooldagen and Rosa Spier Harp Competition!

Nationaal Vioolconcours 2020

Last Saturday, January 25, the finals of the ‘Iordens Viooldagen’ took place in TivoliVredenburg. The jury awarded the following prizes to the young violinists of Jong KC:

Iordens A Price

  • First prize: Adinda van Delft (also winner of the prize for the best execution of the compulsory work)
  • Second prize: Marcel Sutedja
  • Third prize: Emily van Baaren

lordens B Price

  • Shared second prize: Diana Fakour Ghalati
  • Shared second prize: Luca van der Waals

The finals of the Davina van Wely Competition and the Oskar Back Competition will take place in Hertz and the Great Hall of TivoliVredenburg. The Royal Conservatoire is represented in both finals: Kaya Gür is finalist of Davina van Wely and Coraline Groen of Oskar Back. We wish them success!

Rosa Spier Harp Competition

In the weekend of 25 and 26 January the 5th Rosa Spier Harp Competition took place in Factorium Tilburg.

Claire Schuurmans, student of the SvJT, won the 1st prize in the Pedal Harp Category 2 and also the prize for the best performance of the compulsory work in her category.

KC student Kyra Frimout won the 1st prize in the special Harp & Zang category.

Congratulations all with these successes, and compliments to all teachers and supervisors who have achieved these great results!
