Unfortunately, STEIM will cease to exist as of January 2021. As a result, it will no longer be possible to admit new students to the Instruments & Interfaces programme. However, research project proposals in the field of Instruments & Interfaces will still be taken into account. The Institute of Sonology itself has always maintained an interest in research issues around electronic/digital instrument design and interface development, and candidates who wish to submit such a proposal are kindly asked to apply for the regular Master of Music in Sonology.
