Introducing Amare

On Saturday 20 November, there is an opportunity for everyone to discover Amare for themselves. It’s going to be a fantastic party with plenty of surprises. Come along and enjoy an unforgettable combination of music and dance by the Residentie Orkest, Fazil Say and Nederlands Dans Theater.

We will open with Paul Dukas’s cheerful Fanfare. Maestro Fazıl Say – one of today’s most exciting pianists – will then play his poetic piano concerto ‘Silk Road’. This will be followed by a sublime performance by two dancers of a choreography by Dimo Milev based on one of the most beautiful pieces in Beethoven’s oeuvre, the Cavatina from his String Quartet Op. 130. The programme concludes with the stirring Carnival Overture by Dvorák. The entire programme is conducted by the new chief conductor of the Residentie Orkest, Anja Bihlmaier.

How it works?

During the event you will be able to discover both the Concert Hall and the Dance Theatre. Your evening will begin in the hall for which you buy a ticket.
