After the submission of your application and an initial pre-selection round all selected candidates will be informed about the entrance exam procedures. Invitations for our entrance exams can be expected by the last week of march at the latest.

In case of a rejection it is unfortunately not possible to receive detailed argumentation about the decision. Though we understand this can be very frustrating, both time- and work-pressure in this phase are often very high as are the number of applicants. For this reason we can only provide you with a general notification.

To make your entrance exam possible we use an online platform (Teams) that allows us to connect from various locations with good audio and visuals. Our administration will provide you with the instructions and info necessary to be well prepared for this event.

The entrance exam consists of a discussion with a small group of teachers on the compositions submitted in your portfolio, your research plan, as well as your overall development, ideas, desires and expectations. It is a general discussion.

The outcome of your exam will be communicated to you after we have seen each of our invited candidates. You will be notified about the result by our administration at the shortest possible notice.

All necessary requirements and further descriptions for your application to our program can be found under the general registration procedure. Deadline for your application is before March 1st.

Master Project Plan
Before you start the master you must hand in a Master Project Plan. In your Master Project Plan you present your plans for the design of your master's programme and your Master Project in which your artistic development, research and entrepreneurship play an important role. For the Master programme, the Master Project Plan of the candidate will also be discussed during the live-online entrance exam. See the Master Project Plan Guidelines document at the end of the page.
