Dorine Schade

Teacher piccolo (Classical Department)

Dorine Schade studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague with Frans Vester, who was a true inspirator for her.

He awoke her interest in an authentic way of playing, from baroque to contemporary music. After obtaining the diploma for performing musician, Dorine was appointed solo piccolo and then as first flute of the Dutch Ballet Orchestra.

Since 1992, Dorine Schade has been working as solo piccolo with the Hague Philharmonic. She also plays in numerous other Dutch orchestras.

Chamber music plays an important role in her musical life. Dorine was part of the Fides wind quintet, the Odeon wind ensemble, the Amsterdam Bach Soloists and Residentie Bach orchestra.
