Michelle studies classical harp at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague with Ernestine Stoop and Marieke Schoemakers. When she won an award during a summer course in Wales, she started having lessons with Catrin Finch. In the same year, she won the second prize at the international competition of Assia Cunego. Michelle has played in orchestras like the Euregio Youth Orchestra, Dutch Students Orchestra, Netherlands Youth Orchestra and Young Netherlands Wind Ensemble.
