Head of Conducting Department (Orchestra and Hafabra conducting, NMO)

Wim Vos studied percussion at the Royal Conservatoire and was co-founder of Slagwerk Den Haag. He was affiliated with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Residentie Orkest. Wim was artistic director of the Residentie Orkest, Asko | Schönberg and the National Youth Orchestra.

Since his graduation, Wim has been affiliated with the Royal Conservatoire, first as a teacher, later as head of Classical Music, currently head of the Conducting Department. You can contact Wim for any questions about the Conducting Department and the National Master Orchestra Conducting (collaboration between the Royal Conservatoire and the Conservatory of Amsterdam). This applies to students who study Orchestral or Hafabra Conducting as a major, as well as to students who want to follow a minor in conducting.
