Meet4Music: Go RO

In the workshop Go RO you will learn about various instruments and instrument groups – and get the chance to try them out yourself. In three short workshop rounds, you’ll be introduced to brass, strings and percussion.

This edition of Meet4Music is led by three musicians/teachers from the Residentie Orkest and takes place on the 3rd floor of Amare.

Meet4Music: Materials

Join Materials, a mini-series within Meet4Music, where we explore music through intuitive and creative approaches.

In four sessions, we’ll experiment with the fundamental elements of music using your body, voice, instruments or everyday objects. Bring along your instrument or anything else that inspires you to make sound. Your imagination is the only limit.

Through group improvisation and composition exercises, you'll discover simple yet beautiful techniques that allow us to quickly play and perform together as an ensemble.

• Session 3: 29 September – Listen in, Listen out: The Ensemble Workout
• Session 4: 24 November – Mo(o)des & Colours

Materials highlights the tangible side of music—what it’s made of, how it comes into being, and its most magical element: the people who bring it to life. Come and feed your creativity!

This workshop series is led by Cristiano Viviani (teacher, composer, and multi-instrumentalist). You’re welcome to join all four sessions, or simply attend the one that inspires you most.
