Elena Malinova was born in St-Pietersburg where she finished a special school for talented children. In 1993 she was one of the winners of the International Piano Competition in Senigallia(Italy). After moving to the Netherlands she completed her studies first in Groningen with prof. A . Makarov and later on in The Hague with prof.N.Grubert.

During and after her study Elena performed different piano concertos with Conservatorium Orchestra of Groningen and NNO. She is also a member of different chamber music ensembles, duo Albarus and trio Cantorum.

Elena accompanied masterclasses given by P. Wispelwij, H. Krebbers, D. Geringas and T. Svane.

Currently, Elena works as piano coach and technique piano teacher at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and Prins Claus Conservatoire. She works also as a pianist in the North Netherlands Orchestra.
