Coordinator Practicum Musicae

Helmke Jansen began her student years at Leiden University where she combined her studies in Child Psychology with a minor Practicum Musicae in oboe. During these years music emerged more and more as a real passion, so she continued as a fulltime oboe student at the Royal Conservatoire.

Helmke holds a Master’s in Science and graduated with distinction as a Master of Music in 2015. She works as freelance oboist in orchestras and chamber music. In addition to making music, she continues to actively explore the intersection between music and science.
