Lucienne de Roos studied Arts, Culture and Media at the University of Groningen. She worked in the field of education and arts, for example as a marketing/communication officer at Campus The Hague of Leiden University and the Koorenhuis. Later Lucienne organised art education projects. Now she is the coordinator internships and external relations at the Royal Conservatoire. She likes different kinds of music, but does not play an instrument herself.
