In 1996 Roger Regter (05-04-1972) completed his Master degree study under tutorship of Godfried Hoogeveen at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. The previous year he became a member of The Hague Philharmonic. Since 1998 he holds the position of solo-cellist in this same orchestra. In this capacity he has many opportunities as soloist and chamber music performances. In 2010 he obtained a teaching post in orchestral studies at the Royal Conservatory, where he continues his functions as teacher, tutor and coach. This is an ideal combination to prepare his students for the professional world.
