Sean Fasciani was born and raised in Massachusetts, where he grew up in a family with a deep appreciation for music. After only one year of playing the double bass, he earned a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston. There, he studied bass with Whit Browne and was exposed to a wide range of musical styles that helped shape his versatile approach to performance.

After two years at Berklee, Fasciani transferred to the Amsterdam Conservatory in Amsterdam, where he completed his formal musical education. He has also pursued further studies with acclaimed musicians Ernst Glerum, John Clayton, Ben Street, and Ari Honig.

Since making The Netherlands his home, Fasciani has performed and recorded with a wide range of established artists, appearing on numerous albums and stages around the world, from Curaçao to Japan. Equally skilled on both double bass and electric bass, he has earned a reputation as a highly versatile bassist and musician, valued for his adaptability, musicality, and strong presence across a broad spectrum of genres.
