End-of-Year Performances Royal Conservatoire Dance

Sticker-KC-200

The end-of-year performances of Royal Conservatoire Dance are a festive celebration of the academic year. At Danstheater Amare, pupils and students present a varied programme featuring classical ballet, contemporary dance, flamenco and works by international choreographers.

The programme brings together works by renowned choreographers and artists from the Royal Conservatoire. Better Days by Aya Misaki and a new creation by Garrett Smith were created especially for Royal Conservatoire Dance. Students will also perform an excerpt from Serenade by George Balanchine, alongside Pulse by Goyo Montero, Ambiguous Content by Craig Davidson and Travellous by Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich. The programme further includes new creations by members of the artistic staff, including works by Mascha Meijman, Tessa Cooke, Esther Protzman, Isabelle Chaffaud and Britt van Santen.

These performances showcase not only what the students have learned, but also how they are developing as artists. Through curiosity, dedication and craftsmanship, they explore a wide range of styles and artistic perspectives. The result is a programme that highlights the connection between education and professional dance practice.
