KC Jazz Ensemble Festival #1

During the KC Jazz Ensemble Festival, students from the Jazz Department present their ensemble projects to the public. Across five evenings, audiences can enjoy a wide range of music, from original compositions and contemporary jazz to innovative cross-disciplinary collaborations.

Working under the guidance of leading musicians and teachers, including Felix Schlarmann, Stefan Kruger, Tineke Postma, Tony Overwater and Wolfert Brederode, students develop their artistic identity. Each concert features a different programme, offering space for experimentation, collaboration and new musical ideas. An excellent opportunity to discover the next generation of jazz musicians.
