Together with Korzo, the Royal Conservatoire shines a spotlight on its talented composition students. KC Lab features fresh, self-performed compositions full of musical adventure – from lute to laptop, from vocalist to DJ. Everything that is uncommon or unexpected is business as usual here. The students are mentored by renowned composers including Martijn Padding, Trevor Grahl, Mayke Nas, Jan van de Putte, Calliope Tsoupaki, Yannis Kyriakides and Peter Adriaansz. Expect an evening of bold ideas and surprising sounds.
