Following an intensive week of masterclasses with Barbara Kozelj and Carolien Drewes, students from the Bachelor of Music Vocal Studies programme present the results of their work in an intimate concert setting. Throughout the week, they explored the relationship between text, language and musical expression, with a particular focus on the Romantic Lieder tradition.
The programme features a carefully selected range of works that reflects the depth and refinement of this repertoire. Through detailed coaching, students have developed their own artistic interpretations while engaging closely with the poetry and music at the heart of each piece.
This final presentation highlights the partnership between singer and pianist and offers audiences an insight into a focused artistic process shaped by collaboration, musical sensitivity and personal expression.
