Master Research Symposium

This year the Royal Conservatoire is hosting the annual Master Research Symposium from 13 to 17 April. During this week-long public event, Master's students from the departments of Classical Music, Jazz, Early Music, Vocal Studies, Composition, Conducting, New Audiences and Innovative Practice (NAIP), and Art of Sound will present the research projects they have been working on for two years before an international committee of experts. The presentations assume a variety of creative forms and the artistic research projects are often illustrated musically and visually.

The symposium takes place between 09:00 and 20:30 every day in Studio 1 and Studio 2, and on some days also in Studio 4, Studio 5 and Studio B (Art of Sound). Click here for a full programme of the presentation times, and click here for a programme booklet with all abstracts and bios. All presentations are publicly accessible without reservation.
