Memories – String Orchestra
Sounds of remembrance – of composers, of seasons gone by, of life itself. In this special concert, students from the Classical Music department present a varied and layered program for strings, performed without a conductor.
The ensemble was coached by Janet Krause and performs works by Warlock, Pärt, Barber, and Purcell, among others. The title Memories links all the pieces into a poetic and contemplative whole.
