Passion, beauty and heartbreak take centre stage in this intimate Baroque opera by John Blow. In just two weeks, students from the Vocal Studies and Early Music Departments work intensively under the direction of Michael Chance to bring this seventeenth-century gem to life.

From page to performance, a full production is created – full of historical style, dramatic depth and youthful flair. Venus and Adonis is rich in elegance, wit and emotion, capturing both the splendour of love and the ache of loss.
