Mozart in Disguise
Mozart in Disguise presents a selection of arias and scenes from Mozart's Da Ponte operas, where mistaken identities and disguises drive the drama, humour and intrigue. These works showcase Mozart's unique ability to combine musical elegance with theatrical wit.
Two performances will take place. The concert on 21 January is a Radio West Concert. It will be recorded for Omroep West and presented in concert format, focusing on the musical interpretation of the works. The performance on 23 January will be fully staged, bringing the scenes to life through movement, interaction and theatrical direction. Together, the performances highlight the versatility and artistry of the Vocal Studies students as they explore the work of one of opera's enduring composers.
