Royal Conservatoire Awards 2020 - 2022

Although the American composer Charles Ives once grumbled: “Prizes are for little boys”, every student who sees a study at the Royal Conservatoire awarded is particularly gilded.

The Instrument Foundation Royal Conservatoire helps students and the KC with the loan and purchase of instruments. In addition, the Instrument Foundation has been offering prizes to the best graduate students for many years. We proudly present prize winners from no fewer than three completed academic years. Due to the corona pandemic, the lucky ones of the 2020 and 2021 years could not be put in the spotlight sooner. Together with the 2022 laureates, this is now possible.

In today’s programme we present these young musicians, who surprised the world with exceptional graduation performances. We will also spotlight talent that has been distinguished for the research part of their master’s programme or who have received a grant because of their excellent talent. Let these young musicians, as the same Ives called it, 'stretch your ears' in a surprising and very versatile programme.
