The Song Project

The Song Project brings together five singers from the Dutch National Opera Academy (DNOA) and five composition students from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Each duo selects an existing Spanish song to be arranged for voice and ensemble (strings, winds and percussion). In addition, each composer writes a brand-new work based on the same text, tailored to the voice of their partner.
