January 2026 marks a new edition of the annual Ton Koopman Academy. Outstanding Early Music students from conservatoires in The Hague, Paris, Brno and Barcelona will work intensively for a week with maestro Ton Koopman. Together, they will explore cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach and works by one of his key inspirations: Dietrich Buxtehude.
The Academy concludes with a festive concert in the Conservatoriumzaal at Amare. Under Ton Koopman’s inspiring direction, the students share their refined musical insights into these baroque masterpieces.
