The Vocal Ensemble Practicum of the Royal Conservatoire concludes the semester with a concert at the German Evangelical Church. The ensemble brings together Classical Singing students and is led by Angeliki Ploka. Students from the Conducting Department also take part, gaining valuable experience working with a choir.
The programme features a varied selection of choral works from different periods and countries. Music by Gluck, Brahms, Verdi and Debussy is combined with work by contemporary composer David Lang.
An accessible concert for anyone interested in hearing young singers and conductors develop their craft.
