We warmly congratulate our sister faculty, the Royal Academy of Art (KABK), on the appointment of Edwin Jacobs as director. Edwin will take up his post on 1 June and will continue to lead the transformation already underway at the KABK.
Edwin Jacobs brings many years of experience in the fields of art and education. He is currently a member of the Executive Board at the University of the Arts Utrecht, where he focuses on the strategic development of arts education. His proven leadership and broad vision will be of great value to both the KABK and the wider arts education community.
In his new role, Edwin will support the KABK in strengthening its education and research, with a focus on innovation and inclusion. Additionally, he will work on creating a future-proof organisational structure, and fostering stronger connections with both the community and the professional field.
At the Royal Conservatoire, we foster our close collaboration with the KABK and look forward to the new energy that Edwin’s appointment will bring. His dedication and leadership will open new opportunities for joint projects and initiatives.
